SIP Cluster Deployment
« on: October 12, 2018, 01:20:53 PM »
Hi guys,

We are considering SIP Cluster architecture in order to deploy in the near future. However, When approaching the solution, I see that is new Model.
So, Anyone else has been setting up SIP cluster on enterprise environment? Please give me some pro and cons points! ;)

Thank you so much!

Why are you considering a clustered architecture in the first place?

Hi Genesysguru,

Our customer has more than 5000 agents, so I so concern about traffic on our system. From description of solution, I see sipcluster is so appropriate!

Do you have separate SIP HA pairs for routing and agent? What not use multiple SIP HA pairs for agents? Are you running on Windows or Linux?

If the only reason for having SIP cluster is huge number of agents, than I suppose use SIP proxy solution rather than SIP Cluster.

You should read the SIP Cluster deployment documentation to ensure that none of the functionality limitations of a SIP Cluster would affect you. I would have thought that a SIP HA pair for routing and a SIP HA Pair for agents would support the number of agents you need.

Hi Genesysguru,

Thank for your enthusiastic suggestion. Honestly, I also deployed multi sip pair in some platform; however, I am really attracted about new one - sip cluster.
Did anyone else perform that solution?
@Kubig - Hi bro, have you deploy that?

Many thanks from VietNam!

May I know how agents That agent sip server HA pair can support?
We have about 7000 agents, planing to move to sip. Just wondering if single Agent SIP server HA pair can support? We would have separate queue SIP server HA Pair.
