Has anyone any experiance of GVP? It looks very good but does anyone have any real experiances you can share?

  • GVP 6.5.4 seemed better than the 6.5.3. Dialogic configuration can be problematic. In original evaluation we found that it was quite tricky to use it as a messageinqueue type source, however the self service stuff was pretty neat.

    The whole GVP deployment appears scaled down from a network based solution to a CPE solution, and then 'fitted' to make integrate with Genesys. I am sure that in the long term GVP will be more polished (think early WFMs/Outbound).

    We also found that some of the deployment issues meant we couldn't pass DNIS down the E1 inand, so without tserver integration the thing turns into a pretty expensive fridge. This can cause additional complications when planning for 'unplanned' outages and resiliancy.
