Hello All,

We have a stange behaviour with the Outbound_contact_server : every 7 seconds, the appplication generates the folowing log message : "Cannot extract
Application ID".

Two exemples found in a outbound_contact_server log file :

Hi Alexandre,

I've been noticing the same error many times while working on outbound logs, but I am not sure yet about exactly it can be about..  :-\
But taking a look at your piece of log, I can say that: your campaign was running in Preview mode and the "Cannot extract APPLICATION ID" error normally occurs if OCS is expecting attached data with an App ID, but if these are calls not generated by OCS (ie a manually dialled outbound call) then these data won't be collected and you can ignore this error. This is all I know, hope it can be useful. Try to check if you get it also in the other running modes.

Thank you FRA for your support...

Now, we ignore this error but this warnings fill our log table, and it's not very funny  ;D ;D...
I will try in Progressive mode soon, and i will do a feedback...

Thank you still...

Alexandre

Hello FRA,

So i notice the folowing part of log in a preview campaign named "TV_NE_200611_REN_CR_VAL@11Z0FSL" for a EventDialing event :
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10:20:09.368>  ACDGroup Message. OCS version: 7.0.100.08;  WorkTime: 7982;

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have not a GSW UserData sub-section !!

So in a Progressive Campaign named "TO_MARSEILLE_PAP_VOEUX_2006_11@11ZBMHZ", the log is not the same for the message EventDialing, but i see a great different part :

GSW_CALL_RESULT 9
10:20:23.053 Trc 50002 TEvent: EventDialing
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The GSW UserData is filled with a lot of parameters with GSW_APPLICATION_ID. I think the error comes from here.

I forward this information to genesys support  ::) ::) ::)

Thank you for your suggestion, you have a great future in a genesys consult and support  ;) ;) ;)

Hello Alex,

yeah, so it's about OCS expecting some GSW data and you are right, it's not good not have the logs full of that error but you can simply ignore them :)

haha, thanks  ;D  glad to have helped you out  8)
