Hello,

can somebody recommend me a good SIP hardphone please? It will be connected with SIP server 7.5 or 7.6 + genesys desktop. We are using now grandstream gxp2000, but we ran into strange behaviour of some pieces and support is not responding to our emails. In past we had problems, but that were mostly fixed by new firmware release.
We were recommeneded aastra or polycom, can you please confirm it? Also, we would need to have the functionality of call pickup from genesys desktop (broadsoft support).

I have used both Aastra and Polycom as a SIP end point on their own, not with any agent desktop software though.

Polycom have a much nicer feel to them in my opinion.  Although the Aastra is more feature rich from a hardphone perspective. 

For use as an agent desk phone I would go with the polycoms, they look and feel better than the aastra.

I have used cisco ones, and they are pretty darn awesome.
Downside? Hideously expensive.

GO the polycom - aastra is good for IT users :)
