Hi,

We are currently having an issue with agents being unable to login via their softphone. The errors on GIS Server state that licences are unable to be checked out for "GIS_INTERACTIONSERVICE".
We restart Licence Manager and the majority of agents get logged in fine, but when looking at the individual GIS Servers "18 altogether" we find that 1 may have large number of connections Established to the Licence Manager port 7260 "via netstat -a" command.
We restart that GIS server and all remaining agents can then log in.

This issue started on Saturday and we seem to be getting the same problem every time a new shift of agents come in.

The Licence has been verified and Genesys seem unable to offer suggestion at present.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Hi,

If you can see multiple connections being opened I would check your network configuration. It could be caused by a firewall that drops inactive connection but doesn't send information about that to GIS. Next time GIS needs to checkout license new connection is opened as request sent through original connection ends with time out.
