Prompt cuts before GVP transfer

I am facing a strange issue today with GVP 7.6.

It had been working great all this while but all of a sudden when I make a call and do a call transfer, the prompt before the call transfer gets cut and the transfer immediately happens.

For example, if I have a prompt on a vxml page that says "Now transferring you to xyz" followed by a submit to another page which does the transfer.

So now it says - "Now transferring yo.." ..and then suddenly it does the transfer.

Strange thing is that this never happened before and started happening today all of a sudden when nothing changed in my app?

Would be great to get any pointers from anyone there. Thanks much !
