Monitoring VOIP trunks.

Hi all, hope you can help.................

We're have an issue with dropped/abandoned calls that is possibly related to our inter site VOIP capacity and I need to know if it's at all possible to monitor the VOIP trunks on our Siemens DX using CCPulse.

If it is possible, how would I configure the object within CME and what would I monitor it as in CCP?

Thanks in advance,

Rod.

Hi Rod,

I don't have any experience with Siemens DX but I'm quite sure such functionality isn't supported. Simple that isn't an area Genesys is focused on.

You can try issue the request "RequestQueryAddress" against number (trunk access code) assigned to a trunk and check the output. It works on Avaya and returns number of active calls on that trunk. Unfortunately, you can display that number using CCPulse.

Interestingly, this issue (use of VOIP trunks for alarm monitoring) is not resolved for me. Initially, I assumed that because the Alarm system had cleared .
