Author Topic: Any known issues/fixes with Outbound Dialer causing GAD lockups?  (Read 2693 times)

We are experiencing huge lockups in GAD and there's a theory that the dialer is causing the lockups. We have call centers in several cities and several GAD servers. Does anyone know whether dialer agents need to be separated from non-dialer agents?  Anyone know of issues with dialer creating GAD issues?

Hi RC1,

I worked on a project last year that had massive GAD lockups\slowdowns. Based on no knowledge of your architecture here are some thoughts for you:

* What are the actual visible sypmtoms? All of GAD locking up or just certain frames?
* Is this a new problem or has it always been the same? If new, what's changed?
* Are the different components running on the same or different servers?
* Have you checked out the network?
* Is GAD running on the agents' PCs or is it running on Citrix\Terminal Services etc?
* Look at the load on Config Server - how well is it coping?
* Are any other components performance affected?
* Has GAD been customised?
