Stopping ringback tone on VTO with Definity

We are passing calls to an analoge connected VTO on a definity. We are using treatments within the genesys strategy to get the calls to the IVR.

When the call is passed to the IVR, we get one second of rinback tone before the IVR port answers the call.

Does anyone have any idea how we can stop this ring one being heard? It sounds odd when the caller is hearing music, and then gets a burst of ringtone before they get the wait announcement.

  • James,
    we have a similar problem.
There is absolutely nothing that we can do about it. I thought that maybe if we can change the script on G3 we could get rid of it (replace ringback with silence), but we still got the ring, because it is caused by the fact that it is eminating from IVR DN itself, and we do not know how to prevent if from issuing a ringback tone without changing the whole PBX ringback tone settings.
