CME changes not propagated to other applications

Hi guys,
I'm facing a weird scenario here...any change I make on CME is not reflected on CCPulse, GAD, etc.
For example, I delete a DN and on CCPulse it remains. I create a Place Group and still don't see it on CCPulse. I create a Place and its extension on it and GAD doesn't know about the change.
I try to create a new Workspace and still no sign of the PlaceGroup...ON StatServer I do see the event that indicates that the PG was created on CME and propagates the info.
On CfgServer logs I see the events are propagated to all applications...
I run CCpulse as administrator too...
I have no idea what can be wrong...
My next step is to disable AV and FW to see if it fixes something...hope so but if you have any ideas please would like your inputs.

Thanks!

PS: Just noted that if I close CCPulse entirely and login again then the PlaceGroups appear...

PS2: Also the CCPulse option IgnoreNewObjectNotifications is False, just in case

Ok, AV is not the issue...
I'm asking to update the whole OS...
Seems that by some reason CCPulse doesn't want to accept this new info. I can see on StatServer logs the add/delete of objects but CCPulse just simply doesn't care...
Even if I add a new AgentGroup it won't appear...

How can I see what is going on at CCPulse side??? Any log available for it?

And in GAD logs (for example) do you see that the change notification(event) has been propagated?

Stupid advice of the day.... ;D

Have the apps - CCPulse and GAD etc got connections to Config Server in their CME config?

Sorry, but very stupid advice... there is no reason to have got a connection to the confserv on CCPulse or GAD application object.

Cav,

what version of CCPulse are you running?

Have you checked this out?

CCPulse+ does not update the Real-Time view when changes not affecting group membership are made in Configuration Server to members of a group (Agent Group, DN Group, or Place Group). This also occurs with Virtual Agent Group dynamic membership Real-Time view when agent application changes are not affecting membership. (ER# 244674880)

If the changes are not propagated to other apps(i.e. GAD,CCPulse, etc.) ,so it does not seem a problem with CCPulse. However, it is definitely advisable to check the version and his release notes.

Definitely check the CCPulse version.  The latest hotfix (8.0.100.26) contains some fixes for previous issues with updating groups, thresholds, etc.

Probably a red herring as you mention problems with other applications as well but might make consistent testing easier....

Actually not stupid at all, those are kinda "hidden" configurations we can do, and yes, tried and enabled ADDP and same issue. I can't add CfgServer into StatServer connections...

Even Genesys recommends this on their tech support site ;)

Hey Fra,
I'm running 7.5.100.21
I quite don't understand that statement...

Yes I do see them. GAD solved after applying a massive load of windows server updates but CCPulse remains with this curiosity

I'm more than sure that this is a 100% CCPulse issue only, all server are getting the messages correctly and now DB and events are accurate everywhere. Already checked all the info available, thanks :)

Seems CCPulse 8 is the one...should I open an eSR about 7.5? What do you say?

So it worked OK with CCPulse 8?  Weird, I never had any similar issues ith 7.5 or 7.6 versions of CCPulse, my problems came when upgrading to 8.x, then fixed when they released the hotfix...
