G6 PBX simulator in multisite

Has anyone been successful in getting G6 PBX simulator to work in a multisite environment? In G5, I could connect two G5 PBX simulators to each other and it worked just fine. But, in G6, if I try to do the same thing, it does not work.

Can someone please send me an export file of the options for the G6 simulators that can work together?

Thanks,
Vic

  • I haven't either, is a pain, I'm using the generic T-Server, having issues with GPlus as well

  • The solution what creating some external routing points and defining the access and default access codes with the Genesric t-server 6.5 and the pbx simulator 6.5, and need to obtain a FEATURE Extrouting 6.0 license for each. No it works correctly using ISCC. I wanted though to configure the simulators to be able to connect directly and I suspect is possible from the definitions of the trunks etc in the equipment files but the documentation is not nearly enough.

  • I also wanted to do this a while back.

Cannot see how SIM1 sends a "call" to SIM2.

Not sure if you could connect 2 TServers to a single PBXSim? - one TServer with "Site A" DNs and one TServer for "Site B" DNs. Then at least ISCC would be possible...

I quit trying last time round as could not see how PBXSim would signal a simulated call moving to another PBXSim...

Another option I know of is there is an AVAYA Communication manager simulator - with CTI etc which sims the whole AVAYA CM - not sure if this can simulate calls between switches... it may support multiple CTI Links to a single Simulator but this is not supported by Genesys I think...

Let the us know if you come up with something - it would be cool!

  • Well this is exactly how it works, you can simulate calls between simulators, the simulators create a lInk dn based on the external routing point definition and the access codes, it connect through the console port of the simulator,
and simulates the linked call, you have a tserver (or more) conected to each pbx, the default routing type of ISCC seems to work correctly.
