Hi,

I am looking for some document / ppt which clearly explains the concept/usage of SIP trunks and trunk groups in context of SIP Server usage in a GVP deployment.
Plz point to specifc documents or other genesys docs.

Thanks
M

TG is used for SSG (Outbound calls via Supplementary Service Gateway component) and checking total ports status
Trunk is used for specific services(MSML or separate services for NETANN env) or calling directly to the GVP.

Both are usable in a lot of scenario and does not provide services only for the GVP of course, but this is not thing for short description in topic. For clearly understand read the doc and make own test/analyse.
