Mapping T-Lib to the SIP messages

Hi Folks,

has anybody experience with mapping of T-Lib events to the SIP messages? Actually I am solving the issue with transferring calls to the IVR from an agent, so for this scenario is necesarry to fill history-info header in SIP message, which was received by GVP to correct mapping of IVR profile. Does anybody know how to map these information? I have read the doc and chapter about it, but without success.

many thanks in advance

SipSpan2 is not providing what I need. Why do you think so? I need standard SIP server function mapping T-Lib events to the SIP messages, which is unfortunately few described in doc and all my attempts failed.

I suggested sipspan2 because one of the examples in the doc in it's main folder specifically describes a sip+tlib callflow extraction.  Pity that it does not provide what you require.

You do not understand me. I need map T-Lib events during the call for GVP purposes, not for debug or post-analyse. Pleas, if you want to help me, read the topic clearly or read about the mapping funcionality before. But thx for your effort to help

Hi Kubig,

You didn't write how transfer to GVP is made... Does agent transfer call to Routing Point or it is direct transfer to number that is routed by SIP Server to GVP (via trunk)?

It is important to know as TLib->SIP mapping works for the RequestRouteCall request only.

Would it be possible to modify your IVR application to use other key?

Yep, sorry. The transfer is made via RP with routing to the PlaceGroup with VTP ports. So, currently is not possible or is not easy to change anything in routing or in GVP application. So, I need and I am quite wondering how the mapping works and how to configure it. Do you have any experience with it, René?

Hi Kubig,

It's a good message that transfer is made via routing strategy (RP) :)

It will be necessary to modify the strategy to support mapping. You must attach the keys below to AttributeExtensions before call is routed to place group:

ExtensionUpdate['SIP_HEADERS','History-Info']
ExtensionUpdate['History-Info','<required value>']

Very strange, if I add Extension update or attach, it is not necessary now, the reqeust RequestRouteCall end with error on SIP site. If I remove these extension update, all works fine. René, did you try it anytime in practice?

Hi Kubig,

I did quick test and it worked. However, my lab is not configured to support direct calls to GVP. So I tested just 'redirect' to RM and checked logs to verify that History-Info header is present in the INVITE message.

It would be great if you can show me your SIP Server log and especially the error.

PS. PM me if you can't post the log here due to size.
PPS. Muzes psat cesky ;D

Hi René,

you are right, it worked. I did a restart of my lab server and then all works fine.

Thanks for your help
