If this is passive recording there is no special configuration. If this is active or by Verint standard (DMS) type of recording good place to start is Genesys documentation http://docs.genesyslab.com/Documentation/GQM/latest/Solution/Welcome

hi ,

This is a passive recording only, where Verint recorder expecting a Span packets.

Can you please let me know anything i need to configure in CME, SIP server etc?
How i will make my Genesys server to know if it's connected to Verint and it has to send the Events to Verint to Start the recording?

Thanks
Ankush

You mean SPAN port of course,so this is thing apart from Genesys solution and it is related to the network switch configuration. As Bublepaw wrote, on Genesys site is no special configuration for passive recording. May be just application dummy object for allowing Verint to connect to the Genesys. Verint is a client of T-Server (SIP) and has to connect to the SIP server and register for receiving requested events. From my point of view, you unfortunately does not know Genesys (may be Verint) clearly and mix things together.
