My Company uses Gen Desktop 7.6 and one of my agents lost an email, and this message appeared "action Aborted: object 'pending' defined in option 'workbin.email.in-progress'not found" please advise on assisting recovering the lost email or at the very least understand how to for feature issues. Thank you

Check the value of that option, it should be an existing Workbin on your system. If you have a value but Workbin was not found, then maybe someone deleted it...if so...you will need to re-create it and hope those items are still on IXN server DB
