Hi,
Does anybody have any experience of transferring calls using ISCC between Genesys SIPS and an Aspect environment integrated via the Genesys Aspect T-Server connected to an Aspect Contact Server? My requirement is to transfer a call from Genesys to an Aspect ACD together with attached data but still use the Aspect to route the call to Aspect Agents e.g. post ISCC in the target Aspect Call Control Table (CCT) would be responsible for further routing and treatment within the Aspect environment - selecting an agent, agent group, send the call off switch or play an announcement etc. etc. based on the packed data in Aspect DATA variables A, B, C, D, E.
Since I only need to transfer the call with attached data via ERPs and to reduce CTI link bandwidth, the plan is not to monitor any Aspect CTI events by setting up an Aspect CMI service configured to not monitor anything. E.g. The "Agent state map" is set to "NNNNNNNNNN" and the Call state map is set to "NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN".
The concern is that this might cause the ISCC to fail but I don’t see how ISCC would be dependent on event notifications for Aspect agents and agent groups since to the best of my knowledge the Aspect part of ISCC is only reliant on Application Bridge (AB) post-routing functionality and not event notification functionality (although that said I can possibly see why event notification on Aspect trunk groups might possibly be required).
Any idea?
