Title: SIP DN question
Post by: vjicecool on February 09, 2017, 09:10:56 PM
Hi,

Got couple of questions related to SIP DN's
RM and MCP call id's

If a call passes through different Route points under one switch, will sip create new call id for each route point?

example : if a call lands on say route point 1, will there be a invite to that DN and a call id and same to route point 2.

Thanks for the response, this is what i am seeing

call comes into gvp: there is a conn id

Immediately there is a Call id created for RP under this GVP (as it is SIP)

Call ID1 is created in the RM
Call ID2 is created in the RM

Call ID 1 appears in the MCP logs

What? Show logs pls.
Each SIP invite call will have a unique identifier as it is jumping. If you need a unique ID use CONNID.
