Title: CME Security Report
Post by: PFCCWA on March 21, 2017, 02:47:12 PM
Hello,

is there a way to report on the existing permissions within CME, using crystal reports or similar?
i have access to configuration server to pull data from but cannot locate a table that is specific to security or permissions.
the information i am looking for is the existing permissions by object ie Person A has read permissions to Application A, Person B had Read/Execute and Change rights.
hoping there is a method without having to manually check each folder and object.

thanks,

Nope, a quite complicated and custom query would have to be done. As you can create N custom access groups and roles, that is kinda your system admin task.

There must cusom psdk application build for that. Using filtered requests you can get lists of object types and create some output files. Some years ago i did csv for one customer.
