we are trying to install the speechminer, one of the prerequisite is to configure the IVR profile, we are using the default IVR profile and there is a requirement to configure the recording tab, but in my case it is not showing the recording tab in the IVR profile in genesys administrator neither in GAX.
Can you please advise?

To having the Recording tab in GAX you have to install GIR GAX plugin - as the documentation refers.
NOTE: It is not necessary to use default IVR profile for recording purposes.

I already installed the GIR plugin on the host where GAX is installed and I dont see the recording tab.
Do we have to add it manually can you please guide me how?
Thanks in advance

Your role has access to it?

I am using the default user and he has full control to GAX

Never use the default user for GIR configuration and action.

We added the default user to all of the roles and access groups.
Can u please explain for me with some details what i have to do
i am new to genesys and i need some help and thanks for understanding.
Thanks.

Do you see the plugin installed on GAX (Administration - Plug-in management)? Check what roles are assigned to the user (do not recommend to use default user for GIR purposes at all).
Please note, that the configuration could be added manually, the plugin is not necessary to make the SM/GIR working.

As GIR is a new product on Genesys platform you need to create a new role for it. There restrictions about default user on GIR, that is why documentation states to create another user. And use this user for full GIR access.
New role, new user
