Title: Genesys SNMP
Post by: Leonxxx86 on May 12, 2017, 12:26:12 AM
Hi,

I would like to configure Genesys SNMPv2, I have the MLSNMP license. In the SNMP agent in trap target, can I type any community name as in:home for example 192.168.10.10, 192.168.10.11/162:home

I will use snmpv2 do I need to delete the below setting from the snmp agent app and keep only read and write community and trap_target?

v3_username
v3auth_password
v3priv_password
v3auth_protocol
v3priv_protocol

Please advise, thanks

Any particular reason for using Genesys SNMP? We have integrated everything with Nectar and it made our life easier because you get combined info from everything from Cisco to application. How did you define your community string?

They want to use SNMP agent as they already got license for it. Community string as in Read and Write? Read public and write private. Thanks
