Hi,
Do somebody know how many active and running campaigns support by single instance of OCS ? we do have performance problems in OCS dialing so just want to know if is there any limitation of OCS ?
I tried to look on Genesys KB, but couldnt find any reference of article or documentation. Kindly share the document, if this information is there somewhere.

How many do you have? What's your current dial rate?

I have never read anywhere about OCS limitations on the number of campaigns.
OCS can support very high capacity: for instance, version 7.5 was capable of dealing with up to 125 CAPS, 450k calls/hour.
Based on the fact you have only 5 running campaigns simultaneously, I struggle to believe your potential issue has got anything to do with it.
Can you articulate what 'performance problems' mean?
Have you already checked memory / CPU usage of the host OCS runs on?

In theory there is no limitation on the number of campaigns that a single instance of OCS can run. In practice there is a limit of 1024 connections to DBServer that OCS can open. As each campaign needs at least one calling list and each calling list in an active campaign opens a connection to DBServer , 1024 is the absolute maximum number of campaigns that it is possible for a single instance of OCS to run. It could be less if you have campaigns with multiple calling lists.

I bet he means slow dialing rates. That is more related to fine tuning and calling list quality. Also agent control, make them be ready for calls. That issue has been discussed many many times. Maybe a search will help you
