Title: Workspace Desktop Edition SIP endpoint /Softphone

Hi experts,

I have query regarding the WDE and WDE sip endpoints.

If I have WDE installed and a WDE SIP endpoint on top of it , then do i need any softphone also to be installed for RTP?
Do I  just need WDE and Softphone?  no WDE SIP endpoint?  Because either of the combination doesn't work and RTP is missing.

I have this setup where i have installed WDE and Xlite Softphone, no WDE SIP endpoint on top of WDE. Now whenever i login into WDE i get error , SIP registration failed. Could be because I don't have WDE SIP endpoint?

What is the correct way to install WDE and SIP endpoints so that I can have RTP flow?

Hi, you either go with WDE and the sip endpoint or WDE and a soft phone. In the first case be sure to check the compatibility of the sip endpoint and the WDE. If i remember correctly they must match the version of the x's
eg 8.5.xxx.yy

WDE SE offers SIP and RTP management, so use just WDE SE at all.
