Title: Convert more than 500 CCPulse workspaces from bin to XML

Hello everybody :),

A customer is asking me to convert their CCPulse workspaces files format from binary to XML.

My problem is the following : they have [b]more than 500[/b] workspaces files ! :'(

Using the import/export utility of CCPulse I can convert the Action, Templates and Thresholds files for binary to XML easily (82 files) : this is OK and is already done.

My problem is that import/export utility still not support the massive conversion of workspaces.

For me, to convert a workspace, you have to :
- open it
- file -> save as
- save as XML
------> And to do this for each workspace !!! :o

Do you know a tool, a soft, a solution to do it faster ?

Of course, after having converted all the files, we'll have to change the default-storage-type option in Storage section and the associated storage location for Actions, Templates, Thresholds and workspaces. But this is another story...

you can write a custom code in .Net or Java...

i have done it, in the past and in fact also had a small extra script that would take care of moving pulse across environment -
in general ccpulse view has to be rebuilt in each environment - but had a way to move it - the code would give me a xml - and i need to import that to the pulse...

Lol I think OP wanted a ready to go solution. All code and instructions on how to do it.
There is no default way or ready to use. Walter wasted his hours on doing it and is free to decide if he shares the code and final product or not.
He is sharing the how-to. Now you have to work too.
No easy solution for no easy problems.
