Has anyone had any luck installing CME onto a windows 10 machine?
I have updated the ip_description.xml file with the following but the installer is not happy with it.
<OS Name="Windows 10"/>
Guessing that Windows 10 is not the correct name.

It depends on the version, but before we would install it with windows 10 in compatibility mode.
I definitely would love to use CME in Windows 10, but I recall that it was not supported (at least at that time). Did they add support since then? Anyone?

Well I have some good news for you, if you use the version 8.1.100.07 then you can install it on Windows 10.
I was using a slightly older version and it simply would not install.
Edit the ip_description.xml file and under the section <Computer Type="Intel EM64T"> (if you are using 64 bit) add this line
<OS Name="Windows 10"/>
then it will install as usual.
As for official support, that is another story.
