Hi,
We have GIR stereo recording. It's fine for graphical voice interaction review, file export, but customer is asking for mono listening since it is more comfortable to listen any participant of conversation in both ears.
Moreover I am listening in mono mode as customer asks in case of RDP connection to Win2012 and Chrome usage on server.
How to get the same mono using browser (for ex.: Chrome) locally on PC as through RDP?
Is it possible to manage SM audio player settings at all?

Try changing the option on the Media Servers (MCPs) mpc\mp3.bitrate to 8. As per GVP Options Reference Manual:
8 kbps bitrate is supported only for mono MP3 recording (for GIR only).
https://docs.genesys.com/Documentation/Options/Current/GVP/GVP_MCP-mpc#mp3-bitrate
Would be only effective for new recordings.

I know it, simplest solution, but prefer to keep stereo for visual voice call overview in SM.
Agent and customer parts are visible, advantage for reviewer, quality management.
Separate channels also can be useful if You need clear one side signal for any analysis.

This is not possible by default within the product, so you have to use some player which is able to playback stereo in mono mode

Out of Genesys, I know a software called VoiceMeeter (freeware) which you can use for some mixing on audio input/output. Maybe it suits your need

Just change the audio playback at you sound card to mono [emoji23]
