I've read the documentation for pulse that describes the rest API available to include 3rd party statistics in dashboards in pulse interface. Because Genesys is Genesys the documentation isn't exactly step-by-step so I'm wondering if anyone here has had any experience and would like to share it with the community?
Thanks

[/quote]I actually asked genesys for a clarification and their description struck me as a little backwards. You can either use the iframe widget to display external data, but If you want to do it the other way you need a statistics provider that sends requests via pulse API to both create the widget and then populate it with data.
Basically the provider needs to authenticate against pulse, then identify the dashboard and widget it intends to submit data to and then submit snapshots of the stats.
Preferably the provider also has means to re-use the established session so you don't need to go through all steps every time.
I had expected a configuration where pulse fetches data as opposed to the other way around...
Maybe their intention is that you also create a plug-in/custom widget so the stats provider is 'hosted' by pulse...
I can share some of the answers I got from genesys if you need more details.
