Hello,
We are trying to figure out an issue regarding the sorting of emails within Interaction Search. The Agent is trying to sort the emails by the Received Date. When the Agent first gets the list of emails within Interaction Search, the sort order is correct (Oldest to Newest).

2/11/2019
2/12/2019
However, if the Agent clicks the Received header, the Sort order doesn't go to (Newest to Oldest) correctly. Instead, it is doing the following:

2/06/2019
2/11/2019
2/11/2019
2/12/2019
As you can see above, the 2/6 date is not in the proper sort order. If the Agent clicks the header again, the sort order goes to
2/11/2019
2/11/2019
2/11/2019
2/6/2019
2/12/2019
As you can see above, the 2/6 date is still sorted wrong.
Has anybody seen this behavior and know how to fix?

Have you configured the Date as Interaction Custom Attribute Searchable?

It is good, if this is searchable and sortable in interaction search. but
In my env, i have strattr10 as searchable and sortable. but, it is possible to search but not sort in interaction search. So we start explore.....
In the UCS 8.5.1 doc,
is-sortable
Makes attribute searchable from desktop, (Interaction attributes, contact attributes)
is‑searchable
Makes UCS use the attribute in identifying contacts (at runtime), (Contact attributes only)
and we explore to case history, we realise it is not possible to sort in interaction search
