Title: Genesys Pulse for Displaying Daily volume, In process calls
Post by: GOOGLE IT on August 22, 2019, 02:10:47 PM
Hello Folks,

We are trying to create a dashboard in pulse to display the current number of calls that are in process and Number of calls entered for the day at the switch level. Following were couple of thoughts.

1) In IRD Monitoring tab we already have the Entered,Abandoned, In Process table that shows the counts for a particular switch level. So wanted to know what is the source for those values ? If we can get that source planning to use that to call in to Genesys Pulse 8.5.108 by the concept of External source or may be using the switch level templates.

2) Is there any other best practice method to pull the real time data from Stat Server or any other source ?

Thanks.

There is no metric that captures the ammount at Switch level, at least not legacy PBX. For SIP Server there is a status http method that you may use.
What you see in IRD is what URS has been counting for each RP and do a sum. No way to get that info.
For SS you would need to monitor each RP or a DN Group containing all RPs
