Wait.. You can't take exam without taking the training program... So... Maybe talk to your employer first?

As long as you pay, you may. Unless T&C to this regard have changed.
If you think about it, at G-Force & co you were allowed to take an exam for free until some time ago...and anyone could attend the event.
