Title: CCPULSE Theshold Example
Post by: sudoreaper on March 05, 2020, 03:46:22 PM
Hello all!

I am new to the CCPulse scene. My company is extremely strict with access control, and while our enterprise IT team has allowed me to create thresholds/actions previously by way of standing next to me as they login, this unfortunately is not a possibility going forward. Would anyone like to share there physical threshold file to a guy who has spent quite some time researching outside options? Really all I need is a threshold for greater than 1, but if someone wouldnt mind spending a few minutes creating threshold/actions for me, I do have a few I would like to setup.

I’d install MSSQL Express Edition + Configuration Server + Configuration Manager + StatServer + CCPulse on personal computer and use it to create files needed.

Definitely something Ive considered, however I do not have the required install files needed to accomplish this. If you do have a link to repository with these files, would definitely appreciate a share.

Are you still ready for playing with Genesys?
1) Install MSSQL Express (mixed authentication mode). I have version 2017.
2) Enable TCP/IP connection to MSSQL with SQL Server Configuration Manager (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/sql-server-configuration-manager?view=sql-server-ver15)
3) Download files from my onedrive https://1drv.ms/u/s!AlnxlWqYtz_jg_FcByHAb8qo7j0zbA?e=bjCacM
4) Restore db Config85.bak
5) extract Binaries.zip to C:\Genesys
6) edit password in C:\Genesys\ConfigurationServer85\confserv_Config85.cfg
7) start config server and statserver by using shortcuts provided
8.) install configuration manager and CCPulse

:o
Thank you!
Ill run through the installation in a few days, and let you know if I run into any snags. I really appreciate you taking the time to provide me with such an in depth answer.

The only problem is that you can not do any test calls in such configuration. Adding SIPServer or Interaction Server requires license.

Honestly, as long as I can get the thesholds and actions wizard running, I can do the testing on my enterprise machine. Its just a question of being able to access it. I went as far to try to manually edit existing thesholds in a hex editor to no avail. If anything I can share my current threshold file. My assumption is that I will be able to create this threshold file on my personal workstation and then move the file to the directory on my enterprise managed PC and then it works. Am I correct in this assumption?

Yes, you create new files in this CCPulse.
