Title: Changing DN Group Names in 6.5
Post by: Phil on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
I am trying to rename a DN Group in Config Man, but I get a message advising that 'SCEE012 Additional Action Required.' I have tried to disable the group then do it again but the same thing happens.

Any Idea's?

Phil

You have to remove the DNs from the DNGroup first. I guess this kind of defeats what you're trying to acheive.

I can rename my DN Groups without removing the DN:s! Genesys 6.5, Single tennant on MSSQL.

Are you using a Super Administrator account?

You cannot change the name of the agent group in CME without changing the name of the agent group in the routing strategies. The string 'name' and 'NAME' are different, so the routing strategy won't be able to find any agents in the new agent group. Also, the applications are not smart enough to automatically change the strategy.

I've got it! You have to remove all the objects within the DN Group, change the name (within properties), then put the objects back in.

Doing this you don't lose any historical data collated.

Thanks for all your idea's!!
