Title: Email sent notification
Post by: genesysnoob on October 26, 2021, 05:30:20 PM
This question is related to genesys eservices

If we send an outbound email from genesys (iws /wde) to an email address is there a notification we can display for confirmation ?

Let’s say there is a mistake in the to address and the email won’t go to recepient . In this case the agent have no proof the email was delivered to customer

The interaction is stored in UCS.
As the mail address is wrong will bounce back, then your strategy has to re-route to the original agent that sent that email.
Still will be stored in UCS as an Email sent and works as "proof".

What do you mean by "notification we can display for confirmation"?

Notification of what?
Display where?
Confirmation of which event?

I meant to display an alert or notification to the agent saying the email has been bounced .so that they know .

The idea of re-routing  the email to the original agent sounds good
