Title: business continuity sip proxy genesys
Post by: ordesa77 on December 29, 2021, 01:03:07 PM
Hi

In the genesys documentation I have seen that the business continuity is configured in the WDE for the sip servers, statistic servers and config servers, but i have a dude.

Is it possible to configure "bussines continuity" in WDE with sip proxies?

Thanks.

BS

What do you exactly think of? Can you describe a little bit more your idea of architecture?

SIP Proxies are used for SIP signalization. WDE itself is not involved in SIP. It just have CTI (T-Lib) connection to SIP Server.
SIP Endpoint or some external SIP phone is dealing with SIP. For SIP Endpoint we have DR related options "sipendpoint.sbc-register-address" and "sipendpoint.sbc-register-address.peer" where we set DNS hostname to reach proxies of both sites.
