Dear experts who are part of the Genesys world, is the end of Genesys Engage really near? Genesys Cloud will eventually be the absolute owner? what do you think...

Hi,

I depends what you mean by "near". Genesys tend to issue End of Life announcements with End of Maintenance +1 year then End of Support + 1 year after that. To date there are no indications of EOL for Genesys Engage but there is obviously a slow down (or stop) in development with just standard maintenance releases of core components coming out. I suspect that Genesys are planning the slow death of Engage while moving low hanging fruit to Genesys Cx Cloud. Larger Customers are no doubt evaluating their Contact Centre strategy 5+ years. I know of a large Customer that was moving to Genesys Cx Multicloud and have now gone back to tender.
