Title: WFM batch vacation
Post by: Vic on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
Hi,
I was playing with WFM and I have a major problem with the vacation request workflow.

In our call center, our supervisors are the ones who are filling out the vacation requests for agents and not operators themselves.
If they were to use webservices, they would have to login for each and every operators and enter the requests. Then, login as SVs and approve those requests...

This is dumb...at least it does not fit our needs...
So, I was thinking
Since requests are passed through to webserver, can't we just have one CSV file with all the vacation dates and operator names, make an application which would just place the posts instead of actually having a user login and place it manually?
A Batch Vacation Tool?
Anyone has already done it?

If you are using v.6.5, there is no need to login seperately as it can be done from Web Services via the supervisor login. Just go to the planner, select the agent from the list, then select add preference. You can grant holidays through there!

Any problems send me an email.

Hope this helps.
