Title: [SOLVED] Historical data to use within CCPulse for TOTAL WAIT TIME
Post by: Gef Buneri on June 27, 2023, 11:02:16 AM
Hello all,
I would like to enable the historical collection of a stat I use in CCPulse 8.1, the TOTAL WAIT TIME (based on CallsWait only). There isn't already a historical stat that I can associate the realtime CCPulse stat with, so I was considering creating a new stat using DMA, adding two values Q_TOT_WAIT_TIME and GQ _TOT_WAIT_TIME to the report layout based on Q_TotalCallWaitingTime stat, and then using them within CCPulse for the association.

Is there a document I can refer to for best practice on how to do this? I imagine I should disable the template during the modifications, possibly at a time when there's no relevant actvities.

Best,
Gef

After adding a new statistic in the layout template, something must be restarted for it to be available for use within CCPulse as historical association?

Uhhh template? You did stop the generation, right? Then you add and start again.
You should see in dma the new field being populated after 15 min at least for no_agg
Then you think about ccpulse, which would just need to be closed and opened again.

Yes, it took a while for the new stats to appear in CCPulse. I was just unsure because it took almost 30 minutes to appear. I just stopped the template, added the new stats, restarted an then all was ok after a while.

From where I should start to troubleshoot this error? it appears in a specific CCPulse app, others are ok:

Checking further, it is not related to an application, but seems to be related to some groups of queues, although the template used for the views is the same, in the same workspace. So the same template works with some queue groups and with others does not, in the same workspace. Where can I find the association between the queue group and the requested query? That is, in which environment is the query created? In DMA I see no direct reference to the queue groups.

In DMA you will see the objects selected for a specific template. Probably a few were selected and not all of them
