We have an ActiveX softphone that our vendor has tweaked. We would like to delete a few items from the ACW dropdown list. How much work is there to doing this? NO ACTIVEX experience....

At all depends on where the infomation is stored. It could be in an ini file or database or hard coded or even in config server.
Sorry I can't be more precise.

Mark,
this is a hard one :) Since we really do not know anything about how your vendor has tweaked the phone :(
But here are some of the guesses:
1. ask your vendor they should answer this one
2. look under the softphone directory for files with today's day chances are if your softphone uses .ini or some other files like that , it should update a file once you change something
3. in registry, (regedit), choose search function and type the keyword such as the value of ACW, for example it is a long shot, but maybe, just maybe.
Is there a reason why you cannot have your vendor tell you that? Or did he die from overworking, because developing softphone is a real pain since you need to check thousands of operations...
