Title: Does AIL require licenses?
Post by: Ashish on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
I want to know, does AIL requires extra/Additional licenses from Genesys side for integration with any CRM.

Regards,
Ashish

AIL is an alternative name for the Interaction SDK. The SDK itself must be licensed by the vendor doing the integration. The customer must license the run ime component called the Interaction Connector. Several CRM vendors already use the SDK for integration - customers of those vendors need only license the Interaction Connector, which is licensed on a perseat basis.

Thanks dave. This picture is clear like it needs run time licenses. But I would like to know about the scenario, like we were using G.65 suite and using AIL we went to CRM integration and now using CRM softphone, but so far we didn't face any problem/Req. of the licenses. I checked for the T server licenses also, its not being used.
Can you please help me to understand the above scenario?

Thanks and Regards,
Ashish

This is something I would like to know too! My guess is that you would need IC license per softphone, right?
