Title: License Mgr Connectivity
Post by: Kevin on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
Can anyone speak to the behavior of applications during run ime if they lose connection to the license manager, briefly (from network delays) or temporarily (> 5 minutes)? Assume that the applications are not trying to be started during this period.

Specifically,
URS
TServer
VTO
IVR Server

Tim
am I correct in concluding that UP means that TServer remains running, and NA means the server is not affected?

Kevin,

UP means running and NA probably stands for notavailable, because judging from my own experience, I know that URS will go down after a prolonged disconnect from license manager.

Of course, you can always define a backup destination for your license manager by using ":" to separate more than license manager destination in l option.
