We recently installed Symposium 5.0 to replace Meridian Link (in order to upgrade from 25.40 to Succesion 3.0) We will be installing Patches in our Windows enviorment and rebooting. (this includes Symposium and Genesys Windows servers). With patching Symposium do I need to stop all services, install the patch and reboot the server? The process of shutting down all the services in Symposium takes about 7 minutes, installing the patch about 3 minutes, rebooting 3 minutes and starting of at least MLMS in Symposium another 7 minutes. During that time the switch will default route callers to the ACD incalls key of the agents phones. Total time of default routing around 20 minutes. Prior to Symposium the patching and rebooting and default routing only took as long as it took to patch Genesys and reboot. (Meridian Link was not affected). Should I wait until Symposium is patched and reboote before I restart the Genesys servers?
