Title: CCPulse StatServer
Post by: Martin on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
I want to know your opinion about this .

We experienced some problems with our StatServer who feed CCPulse for 40 agents and 5 administrators. Some times the Server is running at 100 % of cpu use and it becomes unable to reply. StatServer is alone on the server a Dell powerEdge 2300, 2 cpu P3 500 Mhz etcc

I have an idea of our problems but i'm not sure.

1 The first thing, all statistics in our templates in CCPulse have a notification frequency of 2 seconds. I think it's too short.

2 We put the option Time profile(last 30 minutes) on StatServer and it's seems it creates a overload on the server.

If you have any suggestions for our problem with StatServer

thanks

Hi Martin,

Is the StatServer only used for CCPulse users ? If so you are fine.
Turn of logging for the statserver, this really helps.

What version of Genesys are you running ?
With version 5.1.5 StatServer performance has greatly improved.

Regards,
Stefan

The 2nd processor is not going to help much, StatServer is not multithreaded.
