...Apparently, ICON will replace the CCon and interfaces with the Infomart Solution...
New to the Genesys Suite but does anyone have it yet? Any views?

Yep it will replace it.I dont have it yet, but waiting on information from friends at Genesys. One of the big feature is that it will also contain MCR stats (multimedia).

What do you mean "Interfaces to the Infomart"? Surely CCon does this now.

ICON = Interaction Concentrator
it replaces CCON (CallConcentrator)

Hiya Tony, having just come off the Infomart courses I can confirm that Icon is simply a new version of CallCon that supports other media. The first revision will only add Outbound support but following that we can expect support for email, chat, corowse etc

Thanks for the information Genesys don't have a white paper yet and I was hoping that ICON would include all Channels but obviously not yet!
