Hi,
could someone please help me with the following:
1. I have a site A and B
2. I am using LDS and URS1 and URS2 for routing for both of those sites
3. PBX is Avaya
4. There are more than 30,000 calls per day on each PBX
I have noticed that PBX's call id is 4 digits long, which means that CallID is reset several times a day. This means that there is a chance that both PBX1 and PBX2 will assign the same CallID to the calls arriving at their respective sites during the same time.
When this happens TServer A and TServer B still seem to assign separate ConnID to those calls, BUT, I think LDS gets confused and messes up by linking both calls into one.
In other words, it means that if ConnID A call was handled by URS A and ConnID B by URS B, LDS will send send ConnID event to URS B and URS B will merge the information of Call A with Call B AND TELL URS A to forget about the call A...
I know it sounds unbelievable, but it is true: I suggest you try it and tell me if I am right or not.
I am so tired that I am afraid even to read back what I wrote I really wonder if it makes any sense at all!
