I can't get the Brio Broadcast Server to work. When a job runs, I get the message "Job not responding" in the job list.
The BQServer.log file says:
Starting JobIdomart8 at 06/09/06 02:45 PM
JobIdomart8 ended normally with status = 'Job not responding' at 06/09/06 02:45 PM
Anyone seen this message ??

Yes you will need to check a few things;
If you developed the Brio Report on your Desktop PC, where are your .BQY Files situated? Are they in the default directory, where the Broadcst Server requires them?
Is the Brio Query running with an associated .oce file and is that file located where it should be?
Is your Report constraining itself to be invalid. Run it manually and see if it produces results.
Get back to me and I'll probably have thought of a few more scenarios to check...

Job storage location is defined as Database.

Yes.

Running report manually give me correct values, so there is nothing wrong with BQY file.

OK Next check the Job settings on the Job List if you can, copy them off and paste the results here.
...Yes, I know there are quite a few parameters! :)

Job storage location is defined as Database.
Always store your BQYs locally, NEVER in the DB as the BLOBS the report are stored as, can get corrupted.

Job settings are correct. What exactly do you think I should check?
Some jobs were definied some time ago and they work correctly until I changed box with BCS (without changing hostname or IP).

It would be easier if you copied them out and check the differences between older ones (which do work) and newer ones (which don't). If you get the opportunity, please copy them off and send them to my email address.
What is a BCS? Have you changed the Server? If so, you will need to define it inthe Broadcast Server setup.

Well, it has changed to Hyperion now, of course. :D
What are having problem with?
As far as I remember Brio came along with everything else in Genesys package.
Any particular reason for that specific version?
