Title: TServer 7.1 Avaya S8700 Outbound Caller ID/Name
Post by: Jason Lennan on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
I'm trying to find a way to output a calldisplay name on outbound dials and have the name differ from campaign to campaign. Currently we are able to outpulse individual call display numbers by utilizing the Public Number Table in our PBX.

We are utilizing a 7.1 TServer, 7.0 OCS, on an Avaya S8700 CM1.2 platform. All calls are placed on behalf of the routing point/VDN. In the PBX's Public Number Table there is an entry for each routing point/VDN that corresponds to the number to display on the end customers caller id unit. We have a client that wants to have a name display as well. Since we utilize the resources of the PBX as a pool, we can't seperate certain lines and have our carrier put in a permanent callerid name display.

If it's something on the PBX side that someone is familiar with I could really appreciate the help as well. I'm also trying to track down any possible software for the Avaya CM1.2 platform that would be able to add the name in, or even 3rd party hardware/software that would do it.

Thanks

With OCS 7.1, Genesys added a callerid support feature...

«CallerID Support
This feature is supported with CPD Server over ISDN and Avaya switch/TServer.»

You can check Outbound Contact 7.1 Deployment Guide Manual.

Hope, this can help you
