Title: Import customer database to UCS
Post by: sitto on August 31, 2006, 04:21:32 AM
Hi,

I'm using UCS with GAD.
I would like to import customer database to UCS. How do I import it? Has Genesys import tool?

PS. This is a good website for Genesys community, we'll never walk alone.  ;D ;D ;D

Thanks,
Sitto.

I persume you could write your own import script from your customer Db or create view out to existing DB.

There is no such tool. You need to write your own script to move the data.

Could I use "Multimedia 7.2 Selected Conceptual Data Models for the UCS Database" to learn about UCS structure?

Yes you could use that but it only shows 3 tables or so.

You really need to get dirty and have a look at all the tables.

What sort of tables and columns have you got in the customer database that you want to import?
