I don't know why, but Google does not seem to like us tooooo much.
site:www.sggu.com delivers plenty of data (5000+) but because we are not linked anywhere, people have trouble finding us.
What are some of sites do you think we should refer this site too? (Relevant sites only, of course)
And needless to say, if you could help with registering the site with relevant forums, it would be great too!
As you can see, I am pretty good with Genesys, but when it comes to Internet, I am still a neophyte!!! :-\ Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

For my part; I've been to Yahoo! and requested that the site is archived and listed, under;
http://dir.yahoo.com/Science/Engineering/Electrical_Engineering/Telecommunications/Research/
Not sure how long it might take but I do know that Yahoo! archives each item within a site, so it should be fully extensive in their Search Engine.
Anything to help promote! :)

I have registered it under Google and IT-PRO. I think there are several other places worth listing to, like CTItelephony, but I am sure they would love reciprocity on our part.
I was able to install "links" under default template, but we are using "Babylon" template here and a simple way of getting it to work evades me at this moment.
I think I will just copy whatever is in default template :)

Get it added to the open directory, this will then filter in time through to Google as its directory uses alot of the open directory data

Hi, Vic,
Afaik, keys in HTTP META element(s) can attract the attention of Google Bots. Please check out the following web page -- it may help:

Hi, Ali,
thank you!!! It seems we are doing a bit better now ;)
It seems like we have about 1,660+ posts recorded by google for our site.
http://72.14.253.104/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=bDU&q=site%3Awww.sggu.com%2Fsmf&btnG=Search
Pretty cool! But it seems Google cannot tell the difference between a post and someone's stats. Plus, it seems to be interested in all "Reply" links! thankfully, it is not replying!!! (at least not yet!)
Best regards,
vic
