Post by: vivek on January 26, 2007, 10:49:27 PM
Hi,

I am trying to setup Brio reporting.
I already have ETL collects the data in transfer mode.  And I have a Datamart db (oracle)

can you please someone post what are the main steps I need to do in order to get the brio reports.
I am sure I need to have web server for this, but I am not sure how web server will connect to datamart db, ect.
pls advice.

Thanks.

Not necesarilly.
If you have Brio client just create an ODBC connection on your PC to the DataMart database on your GEnesys server using user genesys.
Here i attach a PPT i made for a customer, the bad is that it is in Spanish but pictures can guide you.

Rename the doc removing the jpg extension

Thanks for your info.

What I am looking for is, I need to put all brio reports in a web server. Also have a broadcast agent push report automatically.

Is there any document or instruction out there I can follow...

Thanks.

Have you checked the Hyperion CDs for docs that come from Genesys?
