We are using 7.2.000.04, however for some reason the topbar in the application states its 7.2.000.05. Weird

Hi Mark,
The version displayed in the topbar is the version of Configuration Server CME is connected to :).

Doh! Thats a good point :D

cool thanks,
Reason for asking is that we are having a problem with the mass skill change function in CME, whereby it seems to go into a loop and tries several times to update the agents skills after having successfully done it on the first pass, so reports errors. Our supplier have been unable to find any evidence of this in our server logs.
To try to remedy this the have upgraded us from CME 7.0.100.06 to 7.0.100.11 however we are still having this issue, the server appears to be running 7.0.100.17, does anyone know if there are any issues between these versions?

Hi sy278,
I've checked release notes of Configuration Server 7.0 and CME 7.0 and didn't find any known or fixed issue related to mass skill change. I would suggest you to contact Genesys Technical Support and send the logs files to them.
Cheers,
René

Cheers,
Already done that but they aren't playing ball, apparently the server logs don't show a problem. But the fault still exists.
Thanks for the info though.

If the log doesn’t show a problem then capture the screens of CME showing "the loop" and send it as a "video clip" to TechSupport. Maybe the issue is caused by a bug in the wizard not in Configuration Server.
