Title: Alcatel 4400 OXE
Post by: Adam G. on March 02, 2007, 11:43:32 AM
Hi,

Does anyone have the equivalent of a cookbook \ notes on the Alcatel 4400 OXE switch? I’m especially interested in info I can give the PBX administrator so that he can get the switch correctly prepared (yes, I have the Tserver pdf).

I know it needs a CSTA II link but that’s about it.

Thanks,

Pavel

Hum, tell him to be carefull with the entities, so if the RSI overflows the call must go to the correct place.
Also to configure the RSI Overflow to the correct CCD Pilot, agents with out password preferebly and preassigned to a Processing Group.
Read the timers and configuration issues on the TServer deployment guide.
Apart from that i don't think you may have many issues.
I recommend to configure the agent-substitution and the strict mode for monitoring to not use double licenses.

Are you going to implement outbound or just inbound? there are a couple of extra things for OCS.
